W A T T L E. You can see the shaking quivering bag of flesh without knowing what the definition is. I keep thinking of my arms. and my Grandmas arms...sigh. That isn't nice but I do think of her arms. She had big arms and they were soft and a little bit...well...shaky...wiggly you might say. But all the better to hug you and make you homemade bread and stir the soup pot with and who cares about a little wattle anyways...!

Cedar Catholic stuns Cambridge in semi

HARTINGTON — Hartington Cedar Catholic scored two touchdowns in the final 2 minutes, 16 seconds, including the game-winning score with 0.6 seconds left, as the fourth-ranked Trojans rallied to beat Cambridge 26-20 in the Class C-2 semifinals on Tuesday.
Senior quarterback Justin Leise hit classmate Cody Klug seven times for a C-2 state playoff record 208 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner. The previous record was 206 yards set by Matt Davison of Tecumseh in 1996 against Hebron.
Klug broke free from a would-be tackler at the 20-yard-line and raced to the end zone, completing a play that covered 39 yards.
“He made a great spin move and got around the defenders,” Leise said.
Cedar Catholic senior Chad Koch was limited to 97 yards on 29 carries but did score from the 2 with 2:16 to play, capping a 16-play, 73-yard drive aided by a pass interference penalty.
After the Trojans tied the game on Koch’s two-point conversion scamper, Cedar Catholic (10-2) forced a three-and-out and took possession at its 34 with 30.8 seconds left.
Koch gained 11 yards on first down before Leise hooked up with Klug for 16 more, setting Cedar Catholic up for the last-second heroics.
Unranked Cambridge (8-4) dominated the first half, taking a 13-0 lead while outgaining Cedar Catholic 203-58. But the Trojans rolled up 270 yards of offense in the second half.
Leise passed for a season-high 230 yards. Gus Peterson rushed for 148 to lead Cambridge.

Football playoff game tomorrow. Our high school semi final game...5 hours away. ugh This will be a hard one as the boys have to get up and leave at 6:30 am and play at 3 pm. The other teams field no less. If we win we go to Memorial Stadium (Husker HOme)to play State Football!! Exciting! I bet there are a lot of butterflies in the stomach tonight.

that just sound like the total package? I mean lets talk health spa breakfast here. I just saw a grouse and holy moses I didn't know they spread out their tails like a turkey and made such a weird popping noise when they battled. I mean...did you? They are awesome. Haven't you always wanted to know about birds that fly hundreds and thousands of miles. Seriously...what's up with that? And also, why can't our parrot take up migrating? He needs to expand his horizons. Live a little. In other words...GET OUT! Maybe I should open the window and see if he gets an urge. The guy who is narrating this show sounds a little like Ricardo Montalban. Remember Fantasy Island? That just adds to the general mystic of the show. I'm waiting for a "little people" person to run out and point up at the sky and warble "Le Plane, Le Plane" and maybe he would then say, once he saw what he was really eyealling, "Le Arctic Tern, Le Arctic Tern", instead.
