Axtell...we take 3rd!

Andrew got a third and Alec a fourth! Hot Damn!! We are doing fine!

Cambridge finished third and had the most champions, three, while S-E-M finished fourth with six wrestlers in the finals. The only Mustang to win a gold medal was John Frerichs at 145 pounds. In the finals, he pinned his younger brother, Calvin, who was technically competing unattached.

The wrestlers took FIRST in the Elwood tourney! There were 10 teams competing. Alec came away with a second place, Anthony, a second, Kalen and Carson both a first and Catlin and Cody got first. Don't remember when we last won an entire meet!! We had a long and exciting 8 hours at the meet...8* This is what we call bleacher butt syndrome to the max. Next meet is Friday and we travel to Sargent. Not sure yet how far that is but I would guess an entire day gone with the wind. Our Christmas party is the next night. Should be good.
